MAR - Pupae's new boytoy - COLORS!

See? I told you MAR was pretty in full color! I dare anyone to tell me they'd turn down that big juicy freckled pickle of his! LOL! I WON'T BELIEVE IT! XD
Some of you will remember MAR. He's a PLODINARIAN and he first appeared back in CAMILI-CAT: CHANGES, published in 2011.
Well, this slender alien hunk is making a come back and you can expect to see him again in the up-coming STAR CROSSED #4.
This illustration was initially intended as just an inked illustration, to give to my fellow artists and friend ALEXANDER as reference. He's the one drawing STAR CROSSED #4 and I wanted him to have an updated version of MAR to work from.
In the end, I decided to finish MAR and treat him to color. This image of him will be included in the STAR CROSSED #4 pinup gallery, along with a few other pieces by yours truly!
Meanwhile, there's a very fun variant of this piece coming up before the end of the month... so STAY TOONED for that and much more!!

You're right -- Mar's species are, to date, a mystery since I've not devoted any time to them in the comics. But with Mar's appearance in the the up-coming STAR CROSSED #4, that may change soon. 😇

We know not much of other alien species in CC-verse other than Sektans, and Felinoids but his species may fall into the category of totally unknown. I'm excited to learn he'll be in the next star crossed!
