Bonus Reward - COSMO (2010)!
Added 2019-07-27 22:00:01 +0000 UTCIn 2010, I experienced a rather CATACLYSMIC computer melt-down which took out one of my external hard drives as well as my main machine.
Sadly, a lot of my finished files and art from that year were lost, but every so often, as I dig through my many archives of material, I'll come across one of those "lost pieces" and scream for joy because it's been found again. It's a lovely feeling when it happens, lemme tell ya!
I found this illustration, which is essentially my "grown-up version" of ASTRO BOY -- I call him COSMO -- in an old raw art folder I'd created while working on my hardcover art book, ilLUSTrations, for the now defunct Germany-based publisher Bruno Gmunder.
I honestly thought all that survived of this was a low res JPEG, so I was pretty ecstatic to uncover the full, high res version. That's why I wanna share him with you today as a fun BONUS REWARD!
Though COSMO dates back to 2010, there's a lot I actually still like about him. I like the simple "robotic" look of his glans and nipples a lot, but I think it's the "action" of this image that I enjoy most.
The high res version will ABSOLUTELY be included in the rewards and PF PATREON PORTFOLIO, too.

As for your theories on Silverfish, they are certainly all great ones. I won't reveal anything here since the LEGACY #3 is aaaaalmost ready to be released, and a lot more gets unveiled in that issue... but for now I will just say that all of these questions will eventually end up being answered. I like to think that unlike the original version of him your Dr. Tenman didn't replace his son with a robot but rather saved him by either making his son a robot or makings parts of him robotic. Like cyborg from DC, and also this version of Dr. Tenma wouldn't give son to the circus lol. This picture brings back memories of Dr. Silverfish and his own heart wrenching and unconditional love for his son. A lot of my theories are usually more heart than brain, but I am very much sure that he'll make a return in the next issue of "The Legacy" and I sadly await his reaction of finding himself in the future. He's a very sympathetic villain. NJ doesn't age or ages slower than normal humans but Silverfish's son will probably be a lot older or sadly gone. Idk if Horsefly will still be as unchanged as NJ or will meetup with NJ when his team comes out of the machine too(which I also theorize they will.) But I hope so!

Hopefully, a new publisher will rise up to take their place. I miss working on hard covers, and I miss the beautiful BG collections they used to release. I'll keep you posted if I hear of anything.
