Hmm... isn’t that an interesting point. (I’ve actually been asking myself that question a lot, recently. A good relationship isn’t even defined by never, or almost never, hurting each other. I mean ideally yea, but sometimes pain is unavoidable. So, if that’s the case, then what are the hallmarks of one?!? (Hopefully, I’m making sense here; like all good relationships will have conflicts, and in-turn pain)). “What is a healthy relationship?” “A healthy relationship...” While I may not know the answer, I Love what your doing here! You’re so right, Peter has had this murky side to him, even in GB & D’s original comics, and as you add to the story, thing are only getting more, and more interesting. Wherever all this takes us, you take us, I’m very excited to see what’s what when the dust settles. p.s. I noticed Unrest’s hands then to be splayed out, is that his signature move? (Like when using his powers?)

XOXOXO People often like to complain about the "lack of healthy gay relationships in the media" and I'm not saying it's not a valid complaint, but what is a "healthy relationship" period? Straight, Gay, Bi, and every other kind under the sun, I tend to feel that the depiction of a healthy relationship is one that is layered and has depths that sometimes take a while to reveal fully. For example, no one, no matter how happy and in love they are, is always 100% happy all the time. No couple, no matter how perfect, ever goes without an argument or disagreement here and there. I love these complexities. I love showing the impact they can have on characters and how they can change the course of their lives, whether it's personally or as a couple. Peter and Diablo have been an item in the Class Universe for over 10 years now, and I think their breakup was shocking because NO ONE saw it coming... but the truth is that Peter's anger and darker side has been building within him over the years. We saw that in their limited series, and continued to see it in the Brigayde. Diablo's a big softy... sometimes, to a FLAW. He wasn't blind to what was happening to Peter... but he did seem to feel he could just help him deal with it. And that sorta thing sometimes works... and sometimes, it doesn't. BUT, their story is FAR from over. A breakup isn't necessarily final and their relationship is complex because it's now entered a state of flux. Believe me when I tell you that there are more chapters to come for these two. Just be warned, it may not be what people are expecting or always hoping for. AH, the Drama! LOL! Also, MANY THANKS for the kind words on my art and style and this page in general. I did my best to stay true to the original artists of panels 1 and 3 while adding my own touch. You have a pretty distinctive style nowadays, but you clearly haven’t lost your range! Looking back at those original comic’s panels, these match beautifully. You’ve managed to captured the look, & feel, of Cantero, & Mott’s, original illustrations; with your own Fillion flare of course, 🍆😈😜. I’m also super excited that you’ve chosen to add to this particular story. Personally, I’ve never had any negative feelings towards G & D’s relationship, but I know that not everyone is of the same opinion, 😥. I’ve read critiques, that point to a lack of healthy relationships, in gay media. Lately though, you’ve been interweaving the treads of your universe, delving deeper into the relationships within, and taking your art to whole other levels. (I never saw Bruno n’Peter’s breakup coming, 🥺😱😭) Maybe, this will further help to show that, just because you chose to make Sexy stuff, doesn’t mean you aren’t an Extremely Talented artist & writer!
