As promised, here is LOCUS "HALLOWEEN NIGHTS" version A in full, spooktacular color!
Again with this piece, I decided to go solo on colors. I had a very "washed out in alien light" vision for this piece. I really wanted it to feel like LOCUS and his little gray buddies were being enveloped by the little saucer's extremely bright light.
It all came down to selecting a very strict color palette to employ, as well, and just to keep adding light layer after light layer.
I'm pretty satisfied with the end result. And I think that the horde of aliens is pretty satisfied with the specimen they've just captured! Heh! Heh! Heh! XD
I have a "NIGHTMARE" version of this piece coming up for you later this month... along with TONS of other HALLOWEEN-THEMED goodies, comics, and other treats... so, STAY TOONED for SAMHAIN'S SAKE!!
