Thank you SO MUCH for reacting to this. It was amazing to hear you explain to me why I find this (and his whole album, really) haunting and gorgeous. This genre bending thing that is like folk, alternative R&B, and a little Carnatic I find really compelling. It’s like a Bon Iver/Frank Ocean track with a twist. I’m really glad you liked it and I hope other people do too. Thanks for using your platform to share good music and to teach us why we like it in the first place! (P.S. also have always found that glitchy thing at the beginning out of place—I don’t really understand its function and it seems extraneous.)
