I often prefer to draw my own patterns for lace instead of using one of the preset tools, I think it's because in this way it's easier to follow the contours of the body in addition to having better control over the size and location of the elements.
I only used the pre-designed lace tool for the stockings, it looks good enogh and saves a lot of time, but it still remains in me that itch of wanting to draw it myself.
Seeing nicely drawn lace makes me want to chew on it....(✧ω✧)
