I have a new plan and it's crazier than the last one...!

So yeah, BIG news, as the title says we are back into something...!

But if you don't have time to get through my incoherent rambling then here is a TL: DR version.

Important points:

► I feel like I need some time off to take a break from working with commissions and instead focus on improving my own work. (95% of my jobs are all commissions, so I am not in control of my content)

► I want to publish my first original doujinshi. (Hentai comic book, digital distribution only)

► Through a poll that was conducted some time ago it was decided that the character would be Tamamo from the Fate series.

► I was planning to start a campaign on some crowdfunding site to finance the costs of the project. (After thinking about it for a while I decided against it as I am not really sure about the quality of the final product and the production time)

So yeah, now that we are all in tune and the cards have been clearly laid out on the table I can unveil my plan to make all these ideas come true.

And the plan is....!

I'm just going to push the entire project based on sheer brute force... ┐( ´ д ` )┌ 

I kind of got tired of looking for ways to make this work as a community project or something that requires the investment of more people...

I believe that I do things better when there are the least amount of people or other variables involved in my work.

(Similar to the reason why working with commissions can be a bit stressful)...

Anyway, expanding a bit more on what this all means. By "pushing with sheer brute force", I mean that I will simply create the work with my own means and will be posting the results here on Patreon. So all of you who are here supporting me will get a first-hand look at the results of this experiment.

As I already mentioned, I still have many doubts about whether I will be able to carry out this project with the quality that I want in a reasonable amount of time. So in order not to tie myself to responsibilities with people who might decide to support the project I will simply create the images on my own. In this way I will be able to get a clearer idea of ​​what my real capacities are to create a compelling book with a certain level of quality, and I will also be able to figure out what my production time is.

So eyah, if in the end we end up with a good book then I will really start working on a real foundation campaign, but this time with real numbers and expectations...

But if we end up with something really disastrous, then nothing happens, we will just bury the project under the rug and pretend it never happened. (But who knows, maybe we'll try again next year?)

Anyway, I think I skipped over item number 1 on my list of important points...!

The truth is that I really want to take a break from commissioned work, I feel like there are a lot of things I want to try and certainly working on other people's ideas does suck out of the creativity of my work a little bit...

Although I must mention my job with commissioned art work is really, really  good money always and a lot of fun at times.

But as I always say, I mostly waste my Patreon money and commissions  money  on anime figures and other anime merchandise, so I don't really need the money... ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌ 

Although! don't get me wrong, please don't unsubscribe... Σ(°ロ°) 

 I really appreciate all your support! Patreon money is rather part of a game where seeing my numbers grow here and on other platforms is part of the score table.

Also I believe that taking some time to practice and polish my art will do more good for my job than continuing to work just for money...

So first and foremost I will take some time to practice and draw a lot of different things.

My commission cycle will end around September 20th and after that I will start with a round of personal fanarts and random sketches. By the way, I will be opening a new character poll, so stay tuned to vote for the characters I draw. Maybe your favorite character will be on the list...(¬‿¬  ) ?

The list of characters and the voting process will be published in early September, so by the middle of the month we will have a good idea of ​​what kind of  characters we will be seeing.

I'm really not sure how many girls I will draw in the end, but I will try to cover as many as possible. I'll be making a bunch of rough simple sketches, linearts, flat colors, and full pieces. So I'm sure the variety will be great...!

It would be really cool to even get to a point where I don't have to go back to doing commissioned art work. But being realistic that depends more on me and how much I manage to improve my work during this period.
