Sena Kashiwazaki ( Practice )

Hello people...( ° ∀ ° )ﾉﾞ

So, I found myself with some more free time on my hands and decided to take this opportunity to do another quick practice...!

This time taking things a little bit more seriously. (4 hours full speed)...ヾ( `ー´)シφ__

I hope that it shows... ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌

Anyway, as I said the other day, I'm really worried thinking about how you really practice drawing and improve your work effectively.

This may sound like a really silly question, but it has serious implications and its solution is not as obvious as it may seem at first glance...

Practice by imitation, practice by repetition, practice by observation and many other techniques. All of them have their advantages and disadvantages.

This time I chose "practice by observation" , which means that I copied the pose from a reference image. Specifically a photo of a real model from my personal "references" folder....(￢‿￢ )

Unfortunately I cannot share the photo due to 3 reasons... ┐( ´ д ` )┌

1.- This is a real person.

2.- This is the content of another person (Model / Photographer)

3.- I found this image floating on the internet, so I cannot credit the model or the photographer, nor can I redirect to their pages.

So yeah, just to be on the safe side we'll leave things as they are... ┐( ´ д ` )┌

For now, what really matters is the results...!

And I think they are quite acceptable... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For the longest time I wanted to be able to draw Sena, one of my first and most special waifus. (Even after so long she remains high on my list of best girls)... (ﾉ´ з `)ノ ♥

I feel a little bit better now that I have been able to dedicate a drawing to her, even if it was only a quick one.
