Hey people, so this practice page is done...( ° ∀ ° )ノ゙
I will be doing a lot of mock pages like this since I think that this format allows me to tackle a lot of topics and still be able to deliver nice content without me just dropping random unfinished scribbles.
Here you can see:
Practice of anatomy, inking, application of minimalist tones, speed and organization, page composition and speed lines. I also wish I could have included some text and sound effects, but I was already overextending myself with this exercise. I suppose that as my production time improves I will be able to include more things without too much problem. (wishful thinking)... (o´▽`o)
But in any case, I am quite happy with what I have learned from this seemingly simple exercise.
1.- I'm still too damn slow in my production time. My personal goal is to be able to finish a well detailed page every 2 days without much sweat and pressure.
2.- I think I should start to lower the quality of my linework just a little bit. I have studied the inking process of various artists through Live Drawings on YouTube and Pixiv Sketch.
Nice, clean line art is great for color illustrations, but manga pages can be a bit more relaxed on this matter.
