Given the opportunity to choose my own posing and framing work going for dynamic and interesting arrangements is really exciting.
Yeah, girls falling out of the sky is also a cliche, but using your own legs to hold yourself up is the biggest cliche of them all...(´ー` )┌

For commissions people usually want poses that show the character clearly, so going for standing poses is the easy way out. However, when the opportunity to be creative comes along, going for more interesting and creative poses is always the best choice. At least if you are still trying to experiment and learn better anatomy...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2022-03-27 05:37:42 +0000 UTCWise words about the pose. Drawing the standing pose is so easy to fall into for most artists, but as an artist you can create anything you can imagine. So I really enjoy works like this, they are fun and more unique than just standing like you said.
