Last round!

Final round! The top 3 films will be watched.

You will have 1 vote this time.

Happy voting!

Also we are  thinking of doing a wild card pick! What would your wild card pick be from the 25 films that started this poll?

Comments

I absolutely agree. Don't understand why they seem to trail in the polls, because they are both great and such important films.

BRT

Wild card The Man from Snowy River

Elisa Mott

Wild Card - "Hard Days Night"

Toby Smith

Wild Card Blade Runner for sure.

Jay Perry Blue Dream Dragon

A fun movie would be "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" It combines real people with cartoon characters. It is a fun movie.

Toby Smith

I don't see how they'll react to Hamilton. It'll get blocked.

Toby Smith

Wildcard pick: HAMILTON!!!

precious926

Wildcard “Seabiscuit”, a sleeper I guess but should have been top 5 in your original list. Several Academy award nominations (it went against Lord of the Rings!) …lol You’ll love the story telling, how it’s directed, underdog, feel good, horse racing set in the depression era. Jeff Bridges stars (Big Lobowski). Just an Roy d great movie that you’ll remember for a long long time

John

Please, please, please, for the love of the sweet baby jesus on rollerblades, will you watch the 5th element, sc-fi, action, comedy, goid story and great production value, its got the whole chorus line of goodness!

Chainsaw Ltd.

Wild card would be Close Encounters or Blade Runner. Both are key films in the sci fi genre.

Stephanie Wahl

Wildcard: Speaceballs

Angelfish Luva

Wildcard "Hard Days Night"

Toby Smith

Ahh, I wasn't aware that they have done this before.

Kristin D

Wildcard is Spaceballs. Mel Brooks' 4th best film.

Jeff Barnes

I am hopeful it will win and maybe apparently misunderstood the request to choose one of the 25 films that started the poll as I interpreted that that as including all the current selections (and with only 3% variance, it’s not certain so I wanted to support it further).

Ian Forbes

This made me think of Shaun of the Dead, another really great comedy/thriller!

Maya Bairey «SupermodelSquad»

Same

Amy Silknitter

Good Will Hunting is on this poll. (And going to win) your wild card is supposed to be one of the movies that didn’t make this poll. 💜

Amy Silknitter

Wildcard Pick is Hamilton for sure.

Amy Silknitter

Or both!! ;-)

Karen Silvera

And a Queen soundtrack!

Karen Silvera

Wild Card pick is JERRY MAGUIRE!

Jorge De La Torriente

My wild card pic is Jerry Maguire

Julia

My wild card is green fried tomatoes

Luisa

No I don’t think you’re paranoid. Kids should be our top priority. The only reason I mentioned them was because they’ve felt comfortable including them in other videos in the past. They’ll do what they feel is right, no biggie. Either way they’ll love the movie!

John

My wild card is Jerry Maguire. For Jay and Amber I really think it should have been Top 3 for them. My first choice is still Good Will Hunting, so very happy it is looking to go on top as I wished since the last poll. Robin Williams` character in Good Will Hunting is actually named Maguire. It would be so great to get a reaction to Tom Cruise as Jerry Maguire as well soon. You both will love this movie as well.

Endre Snildal

My wild card is Sister Act.

Kim G.

Which Ocean's 11 are you thinking of watching. The Rat Pack original from 1960 or the remake from 2001.

Douglas Custard

Pretty Woman with Sister Act for Wild card (and I look forward to The Wizard of Oz)

J.Fro90

Should only watch this after watching all 14 episodes of Firefly.

hfwilliams

For my wild card Mr. Holland’s Opus. As educators and just plain good people I believe this movie will touch your soul. Second would be A Hard Day’s Night. Having been with you on your entire Beatles journey this would really give you a better feel for their personalities. Great Music and it’s really funny. No losers here looking forward to enjoying all of these with you all.

Geoff Thomas

I like the idea of them watching Oz with their kids, but I'd be reluctant to put the kids in the videos. I know lots of people are not really concerned with safety and whatnot, I personally would be. Not everyone who watch YouTube is a good person, and predation is a HUGE problem online. I might be paranoid, but I'd prefer they keep the kids out of the spotlight in this regard (if that's even possible anymore).

Kristin D

Wild card(s): Sister Act, Fifth Element

Kristin D

Fifth Element is often the forgotten child with reactors. But it's so much fun.

Kristin D

I'm picking two wildcards, "Sister Act" and "Kindergarten Cop" because they are basically pretty similar. They are both action/comedy movies about a person forced by circumstances into a situation far removed from their regular life. I also cosign the other commenters who suggest making "Wizard of Oz" a family reaction. It can get a little scary at times but not too much. After you view that one, consider reacting to "The Wiz," the musical adaptation of the story. It's not as good, but it has its charms.

smellykellyjay

My wildcard is Highlander. Such a classic with huge cult status and very quotable.

CDP

I picked Wizard of Oz which is the number one classic of all time! How bout changing it up and have the girls watch it with you! That would be fun! Us old heads were their age when we first watched, they’ll remember the movie the rest of their lives! Wildcard is “Seabiscuit”. Out of the original first round it is top five, just wasn’t a “household name” like some others so didn’t get the votes. Consider genre polls….westerns, comedy’s, drama, feel good, horror etc. You’ll get the cream of the crop that way IMO. Thanks guys and keep up the good work!!

John

Wild Card would be Big Fish or Fried Green Tomatoes both you will enjoy immensely the both of you. You will laugh and cry all emotions shown . For Halloween Month come on Jay I am as terrified of birds as you are and if I can watch this movie please do it. Buckle up Buttercup and do it! ( LOL) THE BIRDS.Do a poll with Genres . Halloween ( Scary for the whole month of OCT. ) Movies Thanksgiving ones . Christmas see even New Years Eve .

Lisa Rhodes

Wild card pick - Serenity

Kevin Mitchell

Yeah it's a shame, 5th Element would be an easy pick at this point.

steve devoll

Wild card pick: A Hard Day’s Night

Barb Just Barb

They’ve reacted to Dazed and Confused already. If you go back to their January reactions you’ll find it 😊.

Patty Estrada

All my thoughts exactly! Thank you for putting it out there. I agree.

Patty Estrada

I agree that they should add Shallow Hal to their movie list.

Patty Estrada

Random recommendation for 1993's Dazed & Confused, celebrating it's 30th anniversary coming up on September 10th. An all-time classic. A fantastic "last day of school/coming of age" film, which introduced the world to Matthew McConaughey(as well as Ben Affleck).

David Crabtree

Close Encounters is my wild card! They're all great movies, though.

Jon

The Wizard of Oz is classic for sure, but I think it’s gonna be a little too old and weird for J. Now Goodwill hunting will be amazing for both of them.

Michael Lynch

You should just watch each of these movies, one after the other. None need to be eliminated for any reason.

Michael Weiner

The Wizard of Oz is definitely the most enjoyable film of all the listed films. 😀

JL Green

wild card pick from the original list: Seabiscuit

Brad West

Sorry, but I'm little confused... Shouldn't Sister Act (47 votes) and Fifth Element (44 votes) be on the poll instead of Oceans 11 (38 votes) and Lethal Weapon (31 votes)?

Kristin D

My wild card pick would be Good Will Hunting .

Ian Forbes

Also, since you asked for feedback about the polling: The 25-Movie Battle Royale is fun, but... I'm not sure I like it being the primary style of polling. And having done two in a row like this, one could worry that it is now. I wouldn't mind seeing it being one type among a variety of poll types. Polling by genre is a very obvious choice but don't necessarily think that's the only one for more limited polls. You could do by an artist or performer, or something otherwise thematic. Like foreign films, or movies by decade. Pick big name directors not yet featured on the channel for round 1, and then once selected use round 2 to pick the actual movie. Variety is nice. Mix it up. I don't dislike the Battle Royale, but I probably could if it were the only polling option we get.

Robert Greffey

I am going to vote for Oceans 11 BUT the original starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Peter Lawford, Joey Bishop and Angie Dickinson.

Carolyn Phelan

Oh, I see! That's what I get for being half asleep when I look at these things. Thanks, Michael.

Raven Dark

Of the movies before: Lethal Weapon. Not on list: suggest Harlem Nights.

Fulvia Lindsay

Wild card: Jerry McGuire

Michael J Paulus

That's the plan this time.

Michael J Paulus

Wild Card: Normally it would be Blade Runner (big shock!). However, if Close Encounters loses, then Close Encounters will be my wild card pick.

Troy

Wildcard pic should be Rounders, which wasn’t on any list, but it’s a great Poker movie and you said wildcard lol. But you should watch Rounders

Shutter Crazy

Of the original 25, I think my wildcard pick would probably have to be Blade Runner. It's close between that and Dune (2021), but figured I'd go more with the old classic sci-fi.

Robert Greffey

Pretty woman or Oceans 11 needs to be in the top 3

Shutter Crazy

Wild Card: Close Encounters

MumofZack

Wild card: Kindergarten Cop

Joanie Archetto

It's only letting me select one movie.

Raven Dark

Wild card—Jerry Maguire

Deb Ralston

Wild Card: Oceans 11 starring George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon... an excellent cast!!

Jayce

Wild Card: Close Encounters

Angela Warton

Yes Fuiono! Wild card: Sister Act all dayyyyy

MikeyB!

Wild Card: Ocean’s Eleven if it’s the Clooney version. If it’s not, then Sister Act

Jennifer Sanchez

Wild Card: Sister Act!

Fuiono Ching Sung

Can we make the polls a little more cohesive next time, and lower the number of titles 🙏🏼. These are all great movies, but the genres are all over the place, which makes it hard for some of the movies to have a winning chance. There are people who lean more towards certain genres…and movies of those genres tend to out vote the others. May I suggest grouping them by genres next time. You can also mix it up and have polls by director, by actor, by actress, academy award winners, themes/subjects, etc.

Patty Estrada

Wild Card: “Minority Report” since you forgot to add it to very first poll you had, even though it was one of the most suggested movies. And then promised to put it in a future poll, but forgot to put it in this poll. 😊

Patty Estrada

Wildcard A Star Is Born (1970's w/Streisand) or Shallow Hal. Good life lesson.

David Kanagawa

If close encounters loses, THAT'S my wild card pick It's long overdue It's been waiting to be seen since January (when you watched ET) and it's one of those movies that makes you think and it's another Steven Spielberg classic! He brings mystery and wonder to the forefront and its spectacular to watch Please watch it regardless of the next rounds result!

Karl Kraus

Three guesses what my wild card suggestion is: HAMILTON ⭐

Maya Bairey «SupermodelSquad»

Wild card: hard days night

Karen Silvera

Woooow! PW & LW

Kathy Carter

Wild Card: Sister Act

Donna Bertolotti

The others are great, but I feel like the wizard of Oz is just one of those movies that everyone has to see. It's like, a law or something.
