The beauty of this movie were those alternate endings. Depending on where you saw the movie when it was in the theaters, you got a different ending. Then when it made available on channels like HBO, that's when the endings were put together to give you all of the possible. options. That was the true genius of this movie and what makes it a cult classic - aside from the amazing cast of veteran actors, of course. :)

2023-11-14 08:09:45 +0000 UTCI grew up watching this movie. It’s an all time favorite of mine. In case you didn’t recognize them, Madeline Kahn who played Mrs. White was also in Blazing Saddles as Lily Von Shtupp, and Michael McKean played Mr. Green also played in This Is Spinal Tap.

It's a Ron Howard film that stars Kurt Russell, Billy Baldwin, Robert DeNiro, Donald Southerland, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Rebecca DeMornay. It takes place in the city of Chicago. Kurt and Billy play brothers who don't get along and have to work together as firefighters while they deal with an arsonist. It's a crazy good movie... I promise you won't be disappointed! My husband is a career firefighter/EMT and I'm an EMT. There aren't many movies about what we do. This is my favorite of all time!
