I'm here to join in the recommendations for Rocky Horror Picture Show. My parents were pretty strict when I was growing up so I never got to see it. Then when I went to college I didn't like to admit that I didn't understand what all the fuss was about when my friends would talk about it. But then after I was married and like almost 40 years old my husband insisted that we watch it. I'm sure it wasn't the same effect as going to the theater but I felt like I had finally joined the cool kids knowing all the references for the movie.

Trick R Treat - 2007 is a great story for Halloween ( Trilogy of three stories that combine in the end. That is the top two I would choose . There is so many scary movies Since you only do them at Halloween those would be the closest Halloween movies I would suggest.
