Love Jimmy Stewart! My personal fave is Rear Window - suspense, murder, romance w/ Grace Kelly. Beautifully shot, acted, and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Stewart's character is great as Stewart being Stewart, and Grace Kelly was a knock out with brains. Great combo. Would love to see a react to "Bell, Book and Candle" where Stewart falls in love with beautiful and crafty witch Kim Novak.

Got to Checkout Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, Anatomy of a Murder, The Glenn Miller Story, The Philadelphia Story, The Shop Around The Corner, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Vertigo, Rear Window, Harvey, Flight of the Phoenix, Shenandoah, Carbine Williams, and No Highway in the Sky. Just to name a few.

Something that could have gone too sentimental and sappy but all these very specific actors brought the characters to life in a magical way, and the director Frank Capra and the production crew knew how to bring it all together with perfect timing and cinematic nuance. Also so glad you didn't go with the colorized version. I love color films but there is a unique artistry to a black and white film making and I think it is compromised when they add color. Merry Christmas y'all!

How much better the world would be if we were all a little more like George Bailey, thinking of others. BTW Lionel Barrymore, Mr. Potter, is Drew Barrymore's great uncle. The thing that George kept wishing for a million dollars on was an old fashioned cigar lighter. I am so glad you can appreciate older films like this and hope you can do more. I adore your channel and look forward to more! May you have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year.

You are about to watch one of the greatest and most versatile actors of the golden age of Hollywood and beyond. James Stewart could and did it all . Whether as the lead or part of an ensemble cast he did westerns,thrillers,romantic comedies and great American dramas. I know you are going to immediately ask what the next Stewart film should be and the answer is Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.
