i was a young child about 10 seeing this on TV live. That was a Sunday morning if memory serves correctly. Also, the USA chant wasnt really a thing before this. This MADE that!!! If you listen to the audio, it changes from the new audio to the original for the last few seconds. Glad you enjoyed the movie.

But other good sport movies are Grid Iron Gang, The Sandlot, Angel's in the Outfield, Little Giants, The Big Green, Tin Cup, Happy Gilmore, Days of Thunder. The Air Up There, Cool Runnings. The Perfect Game, Varsity Blues, The Waterboy, The Sixth Man. Bloodshot, Kickboxing, Ladybugs, Sidekicks. The Mighty Ducks franchise. Stripes (Zebra running a horse race)

This movie is very accurate, and many of the players went on to successfully hockey careers. Kenny Morrow went from the Olympics to win his first of 4 Stanley cups with my NY Islanders.
