2024-01-24 18:11:27 +0000 UTCI want them to watch The Martian before they watch Interstellar. I think it gets even less run than interstellar. :D

2024-01-22 19:16:55 +0000 UTCAgreed that you should watch Mad Max first! I also want it in a plug for the movie Conspiacy Theory for another Mel Gibson movie when you're in the mood for a political action thriller. It has Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts. And since were on political action thrillers... I'd like to put in a request for Enemy of the State with Gene Hackman and Will Smith. Gene Hackman is one of my all-time favorites. I don't know if you've watched any movies with him in it yet, but he's in some great ones! Mississippi Burning (civil rights era crime drama), the Poseidon adventure (70's disaster). And for Jay the sports drama Hoosiers.π

2024-01-10 06:35:52 +0000 UTCProbably right I just felt the need to point out. There was more than one movie. I loved Road Warrior, but Mad Max was less Hollywood for lack of a better description, at least to me

2024-01-09 20:53:48 +0000 UTCI think this list could be shortened to just Road Warrior. The others can be back filled later. There's really no reason to watch them in order.

2024-01-09 04:17:26 +0000 UTCBefore you watch Mel Gibson in Braveheart, you should watch him in Mad Max and Mad Max Road Warrior and Mad Max beyond the Thunderdome

2024-01-09 02:52:00 +0000 UTCThe Patriot is much better.

2024-01-09 02:27:57 +0000 UTCJust because I gotta be "that guy"... Interstellar is easily my personal favorite on this list, but it was not a huge award winner in its day. Aside from Hans Zimmer's score, all its Oscar and BAFTA nominations were for technical catagories, and only won for Best Visual Effects for both. I'd love to see you watch the movie, but perhaps misplaced in this poll. π¦π€

2024-01-09 00:31:46 +0000 UTCThat's a great movie! I was blown away by it. I knew how great Jennifer Lawrence is and Robert De Niro, but I really had no idea that Bradley Cooper was that good of an actor. They all did fantastic.

2024-01-09 00:29:33 +0000 UTCSilver linings playbook is another good award winning film. Jennifer Lawrence won best actress!

2024-01-08 21:35:12 +0000 UTCMy vote also did not count... initially. But it eventually stuck after I clicked No Country for Old Men about 10 times.

2024-01-08 20:11:26 +0000 UTCBraveheart, but then you MUST react to Mel Gibson in The Patriot!

2024-01-08 19:55:55 +0000 UTCBraveheart, reminds me of being a teen in the 90s and watching the dual VHS tapes. It took forever to rewind!

2024-01-08 19:01:02 +0000 UTCWell damn, these polls are getting real today, how exciting! Do yourselves a favor and watch all of them (at some point). I think the poll might be glitchy though, thereβs no way no one has given No Country any votes.
