Life update

Hello, giving a little update on where I am ATM and few of my short term plans:

Feeling sluggish?

I feel I've been a bit slow on the past week:

• Part of it might have been due bad/interrupted sleep (being honest, a couple of times it has been my own fault)
• I also have been a bit invested on Fire Emblem Engage some of the days which took a good chunk of focus and time.
• Overall I suspect I may have been a bit burnt out overall (Due all the recent interactions from family/friends/cats/etc.) but to be honest, I don't really know, I don't particularly feel burnt out, I may just just be a bit tired and need to take a proper break.

Completed work and current work at hand

My plan ATM is:

• Finish Rabpril (Only day missing is the 30th, which I'll add 5 characters: 1-3rd place with Ina, Calli and Marine and me also adding Kiara and Ollie because Reasons™).
• Work on the exclusive piece of the month (doing 1 since the deal was doing Rabpril instead of it but I chose to do both).
• Tackle few snatch commissions (which include upgrading some sketched comics and such fro msketchorama)
• Take a day to schedule all the pending art (Rabrpil, past sketchoramas and Patreon artwork, etc.) on deviantArt and twitter, likely use tomorrow (April 18th) for that.

On the other hand: Sketchorama and Requests of the month have been completed! (And well, 29 days of Rabpril)

Next steps (What I'll work after that)

My usual work line are commissions, so I'll be tackling commissions once again, starting with few entries from the regular queue and then going back with the VIP queue. (Need to find a balance)

Mermay

TBH, after Rabrpil I don't think I have the energy or will to do Mermay this year. Trying to meet a quota before certain days can be a bit stressing, not to mention I also need to schedule them (which TBH, is the part that takes me longer).

Comic of the Month for May

For May I have a little original comic ready to upload. Some of you may have seen it during a stream, and the plot is basic a little fanservice-hypno-y comic. 

I'll be posting the 3 pages of this small comic in the same day here on Patreon (Likely during the first week) And on deviantArt one page per week (With twitter having all 3 pages in one go in the last designated day)

This does not means I'm dropping Rune's story/Mirror Islands, but after this Friday I'm out of backup content. 

If I manage to complete more pages by then, I'll gladly post pages on that month. (Not making promises due my perceived sluggishness)

Requests Wave

As I've been mentioning, I don't want to make request/suggestions exclusive to Patreon, part of me wishes to open it to general public every now and then. (TBH, part of that wish diminishes with every person asking me for requests on deviantArt) However, is a mechanic I do not wish to drop and in fact, wish to take a bit more time overall to work on these ideas as well. 

My plan is to finally open a wave sometime in the first half of May

Working schedule

My usual working schedule (supposedly) has been 3 days of work, 1 for "rest", however, on a "day off" there are a lot of stuff I really wish I could do: Draw my own ideas, Draw requests/suggestions. Try to learn animation or 3D modeling, or something of the sort, I sometimes use it to schedule artwork if needed.

In short, my day off is rarely a proper day off, and yes, I may play games or nap on a regular work day (usually after a stream), but I would see it more as the stuff one does after work (Sadly I can't draw for long periods of times without getting tired physically and/or mentally)

And not to mention that if I draw a lot, it will affect my performance of the next day.

I'm seriously thinking of trying to go with something like a 5 day cycle: 

• Days 1-3 are to work on commissions or patreon stuff
• Day 4 is to draw stuff of my choice: My own ideas (comics, drawings, horny drawings, etc.), requests / suggestions, work on stuff I want to study, etc.
• Day 5 being exclusively for leisure: read manga, watch anime, play games, Anything but draw. Let my body properly rest and be a couch potato (get rid of that ever growing backlog of games)

Schedule art (if needed) would be done in any of the first 4 days of the cycle.

I feel this may help a bit with my overall plans because I constantly have the feeling of me wanting to draw my own stuff (or play a game) and still not having enough time for that :'V
