Mod List Changes Complete with Added Improvements
Added 2025-08-19 00:13:10 +0000 UTCHi there again everyone!
Mod List changes are complete! They have been since last night, but I haven’t had a chance to post until just now. Not too bad of a wait right?
Just to clarify, I didn’t apply these changes just because I can. I applied them to improve the list for everyone, not just me. These new statuses are more detailed. Minor issues don’t have to be listed as broken anymore. Mods listed as No Known Issues will tell people that issues are still possible (compatible was treated as a guarantee). The Notes column isn’t clogged up with “Updated on XX” notes anymore, it can just be for notes now! These changes are just as much for you as they are for me.
Anyways, mod list updates have resumed as you can see in Mod List Updates (very nice having the new Last Known Update column!). There’s still a couple things left on my to-do list, but everything else is good to go! Please let me know if you run into any issues though.
Reminder to those of you that use the Mod List Checker, make sure to download a new spreadsheet for these changes. You can follow this quick mini tutorial (with video) on how to transfer your mods from the old Mod List Checker to the new one (V4)!
Since I had the opportunity, I improved a few things…
→ Mod List Checker
Added an extra column so you can add any additional info/links you need. Only edit it in the Mod List Checker sheet though. Any edits you make there will display in the other sheets.
Two new filters (in Mod List Checker sheet, go to Data > Change View to find them)
New Mods – Will show all mods that are listed as New. It’ll help you find new mods more easily!
Your Mods – Will show all the mods that you have checked/selected.
Added an All Clears sheet to include only mods that are listed as No Known Issues. This will prevent other mod news from getting lost when creators with hundreds of mods clears them.
I’ll get links added to it sometime this week, after the patch on Tuesday.
Now that this is complete, I can move forward with other unannounced plans (that you will LOVE, can’t wait to announce it)! Thank you for your patience through this, happy simming! See you for the patch tomorrow!

2025-08-19 20:35:59 +0000 UTCHi, with the new Mod Checker, will obsolete mods be shown in the "Causing Issues" section still, even if they are obsolete because of creators dropping support, or do they go somewhere else now?
