Laser Lass Page 45
Added 2023-06-12 13:00:11 +0000 UTCLaser Lass powers up her laser hand as she closes in on Mondo Mongol. But the wily time traveller has another trick up his sleeve, or rather concealed in his belt. With lightning swiftness, he throws his second dagger at our heroine, who once again pivots at the last second, averting major damage. But unfortunately for her, the dagger does manage to glance off of the identity concealing sunglasses that serve as her disguise, shattering them instantly. What will become of her now?
It was never my intention for Laser Lass to lose her glasses, I felt I'd covered that ground with the Laser Lady and didn't want to retread it here. But there seemed to be a grassroots movement of Patrons who really, really wanted to see it happen. But still, I wanted to keep her secret identity intact because I still wanted to use her in other stories, and being a superhero who everyone knows is a superhero has always seemed pointless to me. But still, I didn't want to disappoint the Patreonees who wanted a little bit of mask off action, but I didn't want to bust out time travel again, so what to do?
Suffice it to say that I thought of a way to work the sunglasses removal into the story in a what I think will be a pretty funny way that will not compromise LL's true identity. It's nice when a plan comes together.
