The singing shoe seems like a key musical moment in Donks, where everything falls silent as an oddly sincere solo vocalist changes the soundtrack to an intentional performance. But that only lasts for a few seconds as an introduction to the next scene, where the music changes tone again and the "shoe vocals" get buried in the mix.
This is a shoe with a song in her heart, so I've taken her intro and put it on an otherwise completely new piece of music, more in-keeping with her mournful tone.
Maybe that was silly considering this is a soundtrack, and this song was functionally not in the film at all- but I guess it also serves as a character portrait??
This track also comes right after Barkimboldo, which contains the whole drum & bass section in the middle of the film. I felt like that needed a bit more focus in an extended soundtrack, so that bleeds into this song a bit too.
