tree home
Added 2020-03-16 03:24:12 +0000 UTCOne of my favourite backgrounds so far in the film! A little home in a tree (with a hook to hang your oversized straw hat on).
I've always just made line drawings with pen, and never been able to paint or anything. Up until the start of Double King, all my backgrounds were lineart and flat-colour, and from then on I've been taking very tentative steps away from my comfort zone to make more rendered art. It's been a slow process but this background feels like a breakthrough to me. All the practice from colouring a Pen Pal drawing on here each month has really sped up my digital painting progress, and I'm finally figuring out how to make the backgrounds I've always wanted!
