Hey! Here is a clown!!!!!

You may remember me mentioning a SHED a while ago, and making things in it using physical mediums. Here's one such thing I've been making, with my life/animation partner Zoë!

This clown is a technical experiment, featuring a felt puppet made by Zoë, and manipulated by me using a mix of practical and digital techniques. The process was pretty clunky and could use some refinement- BUT- I think the end result looks cool, and opens the door to a bunch of other tricks!
I plan on putting together a little making-of video detailing our CLOWN PROCESS for Secret Council patrons sometime soon.

I've got lots of silly ideas about how computers and traditional mediums can talk to each other, and I'm incredibly grateful to all of you for affording me the time and equipment to try out these ideas and level-up my animation abilities!

The clown themselves is also a test for a particular film idea Zoë and I have had for a while. Further experimentation is probably required in the meantime, but you may very well see this clown again some day!
