Balloon Breakdown
Added 2021-06-22 08:55:38 +0000 UTCHello! Here is a balloon moving around. It's not particularly clear what it's doing because I haven't animated the rest of the scene that it's interacting with, and the balloon still needs to do more stuff, in response to its surroundings which aren't there yet.
It's going to take a little bit longer to do all the other bits, but while the WHAT isn't very finished yet, I can still show you the HOW! Here's a lil step by step on what I did. Hopefully it makes some sort of sense to look at!

I think this is why it may look slightly off when it's not eating anything, since it would just look like eyes and a nose. I was imagining more of a jellyfish or a squid for the hot air balloon and a whale for the blimp. The basket on the hot air balloon squid comes apart/together when it's arms snatch a kite
