40 for 40, Chapter 8: Runaway Train

Chapter 8 of 15 of my latest weight gain/stuck story: 40 for 40.

CHAPTER 8: RUNAWAY TRAIN

The numbered disc spun further than Marion expected. Further than she was comfortable with in such a short amount of time.

292.

She had just finished the second purge of her wardrobe in the four weeks since the start of her plan, and curiosity had finally gotten the better of her, she needed to know where she was in her 40 pound journey. She felt enormous but this was only the first month, she still had four months until Roger’s birthday.

Marion had to lean forward to see the number past her expansive belly.

That couldn’t be right.

She stepped off the old analogue scale and stepped on again. She closed her eyes and exhaled, as if that was what made the needle move.

292

Almost 300 pounds.

Marion stepped off the scale and sat down on the bed, her belly filled her lap, still jiggling, her hand over her mouth.

The card. Marion hoisted herself back up with an audible “ooof” and put on her robe to step down into the foyer and grab her purse.

Downstairs she could see Roger and the kids playing out back. Not wanting to be spotted she hurried back upstairs with the purse, slowing as she reached the top of the stairs, surprisingly out of steam. She had never lost her breath like this outside of pregnancy.

Marion tossed her purse and robe down on the bed and stood in front of the full length mirror, the card against her chest. She looked at her reflection.

Gone was any possibility of passing for curvy, or even mistaken for pregnant. She was clearly, obviously, unquestionably, fat. Everything was fatter, her face, her chins, her neck, her arms, her tits, her legs, her feet, even her hands down to her fingers, she didn’t think she’d be able to remove her wedding ring like this. If she couldn’t lose this birthday present weight, she’d have to get her wedding ring resized.

But it was her belly that was the shining star of her weight gain, demanding attention from all angles, even from behind somehow. Parts of her body that she never related to her belly before all seemed to run together. Rolls of belly fat moved from the front to the side and behind, blending seamlessly into her back fat. The creases of her hanging belly ran straight to her hips and down to her ass. Her belly was ground zero, the point from which the rest of her fatness spread.

Marion took a deep breath, closed her eyes and lifted the card up to see.

“Max Weight Exceeded.”

It took a moment for Marion to understand what she was looking at.

The antique pharmacy scale couldn’t record her weight.

She didn’t know her starting point.

She didn’t know how much weight she’d gained.

Marion sat on the bed and tried to figure out the missing number. More than 250. And it’s not like she’s only gained a pound or two in the last month. She outgrew her entire wardrobe. And her attempts to restock her wardrobe brought the rude shock that she could no longer shop in any of the stores she used to. Nothing fit!

From past experience, Marion knew she was talking about more than 5 or 10 pounds. She tried to recall her pregnancies and when she had to make the leap to maternity wear, 25 pounds? 30 pounds? But it had taken her four months to gain that much then.

She couldn’t be certain, but it sounded entirely plausible that she weighed 260 pounds at the start, and gained 32 pounds in less than a month.

More than a pound a day!

It wasn’t outside the realm of possibility for her. She’d done it before. Usually holidays and getaways with Roger. They once went to New Orleans for a friend’s wedding and in the few days holiday leading up to the wedding Marion had enjoyed so much of the local cuisine she outgrew the dress she’d brought, leading to a panicked dash around New Orleans with Roger to find a new dress that fit the morning of the wedding.

Marion put on a brand new pair of comfy, elastic waist jersey pants, her previous favorite pair couldn’t stretch over her belly anymore. Her old crop top still fit, just revealed more belly than it used to.

She had to slow down. Things were getting out of control. She had this vision of stepping on a scale on Roger’s 40th birthday to demonstrate her 40 pound gain. She was four months too early. Of course Roger didn’t mind her being so far ahead of schedule. Though she worried that gaining 40 pounds in one month and then not gaining any more weight was terribly anti-climactic. This was turning into a heck of a Valentines Day present, with nothing to show for his birthday.

Marion ventured downstairs, holding the railing as she went. She was very unsure on her feet. So much weight so fast left her feeling perpetually off balance and clumsy. Her spacial awareness wasn’t great on the best of days and now that she protruded further outward in all directions, she found herself continually bumping into things and knocking things over.

From the kitchen, Marion could see Roger and the kids playing outback. Roger’s Valentines Day presents were there on the counter, flowers and a giant box of chocolates. “Of course,” lamented Marion.

She pulled out a stool from under the counter and sat down. There was an audible creak of protest from beneath her. Wobbly and precarious on her perch, she wished for wider, sturdier stools.

Marion opened the chocolate box and pulled out a truffle while she watched the kids play. Roger always went for the good stuff. Top shelf. Which Marion appreciated, but at the same time she also enjoyed using the kids as an excuse for cheap junk chocolate as well.

Roger closed the sliding door behind him on his way back in, “you found your present.”

Marion was caught, Roger hadn’t officially given her her present yet, she quickly shoved the rest of the chocolate in her mouth and closed the box, “chocolates? For me? You shouldn’t have.”

She sheepishly offered Roger the box, “do you want one?”

Roger took the box, obviously light, “you ate them all already?”

Marion was appalled, “what? No I didn’t!” She grabbed the box back and opened it, empty. “Oh Jesus!” So much for slowing down.

“I didn’t get you anything,” Marion tossed aside the empty box.

“Yes you did,” Roger stepped behind Marion and wrapped his arms around her, she noticed he had to squeeze her harder to make his hands reach around her.

“Ooof- don’t squeeze me, I’m full of chocolate,” though she didn’t really feel too full. If Roger put another box of chocolates in front of her, she could probably eat that too.

“Does that mean you don’t want your other present?” Roger kissed her neck.

“Is it more chocolate?” Marion was teasing, but at the same time…

“How did you know?” Roger produced a second box from his bag.

Marion snorted laughing, “oh no!”

She lunged for the box but Roger pulled it out of reach, “ah-ah, this one is kind of a present for me to.”

“Oh yeah?” Marion steadied herself on the stool.

“Yeah, this one is for later, this one is for me to feed you.”

Marion looked up to kiss Roger, “when does your mother get here to pick up the kids?”

“Not soon enough” Roger leans over to kiss Marion

CRACK “OOoooo!” Marion vanishes from underneath him.

“Marion?” Roger looks down to find her sprawled out on the kitchen floor, the splintered stool beneath her, “oh my goodness, honey are you okay?”

Red as a beet, Marion took Roger’s hand to get up, her mind was blank from the shock, slowly processing what happened. She noticed how difficult it was for Roger to lift her. Back on her feet she could survey the damage. The stool was in pieces. It was a well built stool and she broke it.

“Marion, are you okay?” Marion looked up to see a concerned Roger, she wondered how horny this would have made him if he hadn’t had such a big heart.

“Happy Valentine’s Day!” Marion turned on the charm and made a ta-da pose, unintentionally losing her balance and wobbling.

Roger smiled and brought her towards him for a kiss. As much as Marion enjoyed Roger grabbing her from behind, she’d noticed the sensation of him pulling her close for a kiss had gotten exponentially hotter as her belly got bigger. He had to pull her tighter to reach her lips, her fat squished against his abs and enveloped him as he brought her closer. She used to notice his hard-on against her thighs, but now her belly hung down so far that he was now pressing himself into her fat.

“You really okay though?” Marion appreciated him always looking out for her.

“I’m fine, shaken up, and totally uncertain about how I feel about breaking our furniture with my fat, but I’m fine.” Roger hugged her tighter and kissed her again.

Marion laid on the bed while she listened to Roger buckle the kids into their grandmother’s car outside. The second box of chocolate lay beside her. She knew she was supposed to save them for Roger to feed them to her, but really he shouldn’t have left them with her. She slipped her hand into the box to take another. The chocolate was helping her process what had happened in the kitchen. If she thought things were out of hand before, she didn’t know what to think now.

Maybe the experiment is over thought Marion. Maybe this is as far as she gets. She gained over 30 pounds in a month. Roger has had plenty of fun watching her outgrow her wardrobe, and that bit with the stool there will probably live in his memory until the end of time. There’s no shame in calling it quits. She more than fulfilled his fantasies at this point.

She heard Roger coming up the stairs, she heaved herself to roll over and find the lid of the chocolate to close the box. It was empty! “Oh shit!” Marion sat up, tipped over the box, looked around the bed as if she’d find the chocolate there.

Roger stepped into the bedroom to find Marion caught, holding an empty chocolate box.

“Sorry!” But she could see from Roger’s smile, that it wasn’t all bad. She laughed and laid back as Roger crawled on top of her, shoving the empty box off the bed, “I couldn’t help myself.”
