Suggestion Box Delay, Comms and other stuff

Hey, so I've been kind of going through sort of an on and off art block for a while now. Part of it has been due to the constant feel of needing to create stuff that either I am not in the correct mindset of and forcing it or just needing to put something out and feeling my art has suffered because of this. I've been doing a lot more sketches than actual finished art at work and that has helped, but it's also made me realize that I can create much better stuff when I put out what I want to put out, when I want to put it out. 

I guess in a long way of saying it, originally I intended the suggestion box to work as a way of letting you guys help me come up with ideas. Though I've been noticing the past few months I keep having less and less time to actually work on these and by the time I can, realizing I don't have the actual motivation/inspiration to work on them. It's been leading to me feeling like these have been some of my weaker pieces for a while now. While they do let me try doing longer pieces but they definitely do not feel like my strongest pieces at all. 

I'm not really sure how I want to continue with the suggestion box, though I am considering just ending them for my sake, but I do think that I might take a small hiatus from art. Specifically taking a hiatus from feeling the need to force creating art because it has been hindering rather than helping me. I want to keep drawing, but I want to find that spark that I get from drawing certain pieces such as the recent palamute piece. I had so much fun drawing that and I want to keep doing more with that for a bit, then move on to other things that   genuinely inspire me to keep drawing. 

I do plan on working on last month's suggestion box piece eventually when I don't feel like I'm forcing something into existence, just not now sorry. 

In slightly other news, I tested opening up for 2 commissions for Patreon members only on the Discord server and I think it worked pretty well, instead of doing 20 at a time and reading through 80 submissions. I could actually handle 2 at a time so I will probably be continuing that every 2-3 weeks or so. Need to figure out how to post it here too for those not on the discord server, though that might be tricky since it kind of allows for me to go through these pretty quickly. It's something I'd have to consider more.

Sorry for the long winded reasoning for why last month's suggestion box isn't coming out. I do really want to have a way to thank you guys for supporting me, but this method isn't working too well. Either way, thanks.
