Status of Podcasts, Audio Format, Patreon Adjustments

Here's your full update on the status's

Podcasts The listed shows are on hiatus for 1 to 2 weeks. This is due to travel and holidays all getting in the way, but it is allowing us to focus on getting the Patreon functioning properly along with reformatting a few.

CTV - This is our show we started as a way to talk about DC Universe and the CW Shows. Obviously it kind of has a short shelf life due to the fact there arent always shows around we want to watch. Its being re-purposed as a movie review show featuring Dan & Benny watching older Superhero movies and discussing them while watching a few episodes of some of the shows they are behind on. So basically, a movie and show discuss show that can survive when there isnt a CW show to rant about.

Comicstorian Weekly - Not much is changing here, Benny just needs to stop traveling to make sure he can be on it more.

3 Beers & A Topic - This has been the hardest show to produce due to buying the beer. The show itself is expensive. We want to put this on a permanent rotation though. The plan now is to budget out the money monthly, buy a months worth of Beer for the show ahead of time and then work through it. We've tried a few things like create a new set for this and come up with a formula. The honest problem is we have to much on Mondays, so I think it'll be filmed on Thursdays since we have room there. We hope that this will allow the show to not be skipped any longer and become a regular Podcast for us.

The Weekly Pull - I'm listing this here as I am getting questions from our Patreons about its status. This is not a show we produce in our company, but a joint venture with Rob, Sal and I. With Rob's new focus on vlogging & his personal life, he repeatedly was unable to make the show. Following our Endgame show, Sal & I got busy with personal podcasts and the show has just fallen to the wayside. Sal and I agreed if Rob isn't interested in it anymore, we'll let it end and start up a new Sal & Benny show under a new name. As of right now, we figured let him focus on his marriage & move. Once he settles in if we dont hear from him we'll talk to him about what he wants to do. After 5 or 6 years of the show, IMO it has run its course as the show evolved into something else entirely, barely talking about comics and such anymore. 

Audio Format

Right now we're working on getting audio formats of everything we post here rolling. This is a little wonky though as we're only allowed on RSS feed. We are looking for an answer which would separate Podcasting and Complete Stories for you guys. As of right now there is no plans to Audio Format the older videos.

Mangastorian

Kevin and I are working hard on finding a home for Mangastorians backlog for this month. We hope to have a solid source for you to go through and enjoy the channel. Once we get the backlog up for people, we'll be focusing on bringing new episodes to each of eh fan favorites. The current idea is each show will get a new episode monthly, with a new one hitting weekly on Fridays.

Early Access

This one is the easiest one. Its already mostly working, there will be a couple of episodes over the next two weeks that wont get early access. But its just a scheduling issue, within the 2 weeks everything will be here Early Access fully.

Comicstorian Box

Long story short, the adjustments I made to our Patreon charged our early adopters early, then again this month. We are going to honor anyone who signed up in June with extra things in the first crate. We are currently dealing with an issue getting the shirts printed simply because no one wants to touch a normal looking Spider-Man because of Copyright, but we'll get the shirts made somewhere, package them and send them out. Thank you everyone who is on board with us getting this to work. Its issues like this that we need to work out which is why we went ahead and restricted the number til its worked out.

Tales of Earth & Eligible Monster

We are working out the schedule to get these up early as well, but they arent the first focus, the Comicstorian videos and Podcasts are. This is simply because we feel most people are subbed for those two, with Tales and EM being secondary. So we want to make sure we get the first half right before throwing in more work.
