Hi There! Thats Part 02! In this tutorial we will make a bit more complicated organic structure based on Part 01 setup. We will reshape our tree surface use native c4d tools and make growing particles over surface as well. I hope you like it. So let's get started!

Hi! That's old one tutorial. A lot of things has changed in C4D and X-Particles as well. Unfortunatly I haven't been using x-particles so can't check it.

Thanks. Great tutorial. I'm on c4d 2024 and for some reason the shader field with tile shader is having no impact. has something changed maybe? I"ve also downloaded your part 02 files and it doesn't work...explodes?

Hi. I think you should bake it. Sometimes xparticles cache works wrong. I could suggest you bake it as alembic file. In most case works perfect, support uv vertex map and more. Also alembic works very fast.

Hey dude, was hoping you could help. I have followed along with the tutorial but am having some issues when it comes to rendering. I am using octane but I think it's a caching/dynamics issue rather than render engine.
Everything looks fine in the live viewer but when I render to the picture viewer the 'tree' element renders in whatever state it is in on my timeline. For instance, if I have it on frame zero, it will render through the entire animation with the tree element looking exactly as it does on the first frame - this is the same if I have it set on the last frame, or any random frame in between.
I have the tree cached at the point you do it the tutorial. Perhaps I need to bake the whole thing?
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Finally got a chance to go through both parts of this tutorial, a lot of great tips once again. Really love supporting you, definitely feel like this is helping me to level up. Thanks man!
