I wanted to let you guys know the status of the voted on comics while giving you the letter I wrote over on YouTube.

First off the voted on comics. You guys wanted Detective Comics, Batman the Animated Series and Wolverine. All of these are exclusive to Patreon only to be used on YouTube as a backup. My goal in January is to finish each of these runs (I just recorded the last Detective Comics) So we can start the vote again February 1st. If you are curious what happened, in the YouTube letter I explain I was wracked with Panic Attacks in 2021, the reason is listed there. So I just wanted to thank you all for your continued support and to let you know. We're going to makeup what we're missing to you guys. Happy 2022 Everyone!  I just wanted to thank you for an amazing 2021. Its been more taxing then you realize on my me mentally. So I'll take a moment to explain what happened in 2021 that almost ended Comicstorian and what is going to be happening in 2022 for Comicstorian.   Near the end of 2020 we actually received multiple copyright strikes from Warner Brothers. What was weird about this is I was in pretty consistent contact with DC Comics, which you would think would just inform me if they had an issue. Well as it turns out, DC was unaware WB was doing this and an amazing person who no longer works there got in touch with WB and cleared up the issue. But while the issue was resolved and I had the go ahead from DC & WB to continue as I do, it put a fear into me. That this entire business can end, instantly, because of something as simple as confusion.  At the start of 2021 I wanted to end all of this youtube stuff. Stop having this looming thing over my head that could vanish overnight. I began to have panic attacks that I was going to lose everything, with no real reason for that to be the case. But I had to smile through it all for photos, podcasts and  all on screen appearances. Meanwhile I'd end a show with a nonsensical panic attack. So I stopped covering comics that just came out, started doing less and less videos, this cased our dip in views, but ya know what; I didnt care. The income still covered our staff and let us do our thing and I was slowly returning to normal. So I shifted my focus to our new projects, original IP's that we could own and never in theory lose randomly.  Absolutely Marvel & DC (https://www.youtube.com/c/AbsolutelyM...) became a channel I could talk about the movies, rumors and trailers with my friends.  Dungeons & Ale(https://www.youtube.com/c/DungeonsAle) is a channel where we play tabletop games and make up RPG's.  I also took a bunch of additional deals to branch into new territory. I was offered a check to do Facebook Gaming videos and I play a lot of Fortnite over there with friends. https://www.facebook.com/Comicstorian... and we also started up the Tiktok and Snapchats https://www.snapchat.com/add/comicsto... https://www.tiktok.com/@comicstorian? which is where those shorts came from you guys are watching here on Comicstorian came from.   And that's what I wanted to thank you guys for. Yes the views are down, but I dont overall care. Because you guys are here and watching the videos. I spent a lot of 2021 reinventing what Comicstorian as a Brand is while creating new brands that are succeeding because of the best damn community in the world.   Thank you to everyone for a weird 2021 and allowing us to create so many new projects while helping them succeed. Comicstorian isnt going anywhere and I hope to see you at another roundup in 2023. Again, thank you everyone.   -Benny
