Alan is a wizard, right? When will he make the fighting Uruk Hai?

I did think about it, too. An angry man wanting to kill as many goblins as possible?! Say no more, I thought! But... these goblins aren't the kind the Goblin Slayer fights. A few hundred years from now, these goblins make magical machine guns. And just 4 to 20 years from 1440, Clanboss Dak Chaingrasper on the other side of those Serpentspine Mountains would become an immortal necromancer that would use hundreds of thousands of skeletons to conquer Texas-sized chunk of land. ... Goblin Slayer ain't gonna cut it against those kinds of goblins. Not to mention the fact that elves in this setting kind of erased a fourth of their own continent a thousand four hundred years ago.

Honestly thought he was gonna stack goblin slayer

Martian

Warhammer daemon prince, main skills umbrakinesis, social manipulation up to and including gods, corruption (brought down entire civilizations in 40K to chaos). He was also one of the first, if not the first, mortals to turn themselves into a demon prince by working for the Chaos Gods. Also, strong physically and a pretty good fighter, for a manipulator type, he is roided out.

I did think about doing that, but I decided not to for a few reasons. Mechanically, he JUST got Panacea, which means that Template rules apply - he's only at Tier 4. Tier 4 Panacea, IMO, is not capable of doing that kind of thing in any reasonable timeframe. Plot-wise, this isn't about Alan setting up a clinic in a fantasy setting, and doing that and then abandoning the project to go for mithril mines in Serpentsreach and Serpentspines? That's killing hope after giving it. Very cruel. Biologically, Alan will need to rewrite the person while lacking half of the gene template (the other half being goblin). Even with the full might of a shard, that's something that takes a long time, never mind someone whose power is handicapped at the start. For reference, I consider even the lowest shards to be at least Tier 8. And our MC is Tier 5 in combat, tier 4 in everything else connected to his templates. Psychosocially, Alan would be falling down the same trap that Panacea and New Wave were in - where the results of the individual's action is applied for the sake of society and a sort of expectation is pressured unto the individual, instead of using a system to solve society's problem. It is good to help, but is it Alan's business? No. He's a Contractor here to make bank. While he is not without sympathy or empathy, he is also not a saint or god. He will help where he can (he's already doing that outside of Atu and other fighters seeking to join him) but he's not here to solve society's problem. Society needs to solve society's problem, not rely on an individual to do so for them. The best that an individual can do is offer innovative tools.

fixed the tag. so it should show the other two chapters.

Can't he use the Panacea templates' powers to change the half goblins fully to their other half(human, elf, or whatever)? It would help with the discrimination(really is just good business to not have so much distrust from the locals if he wants to attract followers), and maybe leaving their goblin blood behind will help them mentally.

Can you link chapters 1 & 2 so we can go back and catch up to this point? Kind of lost and only chapter 3 has a thread mark at the end for deb.
