Lylas Curse V0.1.43 HOTFIX (All Patrons Release)

Third times a charm right?  Thank you again for everyone reporting any bugs you've found and thank you for your patience!

From the latest hotfix (V0.1.42), it looks like we introduced a brand new bug that followed a lot of the Sock scenes called the "sock_soapy" bug.  This was introduced because we increased Lyla's slut level which opened up a few new levels of scenes but also unlocked some new Sock sprite body animation checks.  Basically, we forgot to add a default value for the new variable and the game didn't know what to do.

• It looks like there was another bug that would take some users back to the main menu.  We were not able to reproduce that in any way. I think I figured out why it's doing that from talking to other players, make sure you're not using an old save.  It'll break the game and cause that error.  If you run into it, could you make detailed note on what you did and were doing when it kicked you back and post in the #report-bugs-here channel on the Lylas Curse Discord?

A final note: don't use old saves from previous builds (pre V0.1.40)

V0.1.43 Hotfix for (V0.1.40 Release) 

• Rewrote the "Jerky the Towel" scenes with Geoff to account for various edge cases.
• Fixed "sock_soapy" error.

V0.1.42 Hotfix for (V0.1.40 Release) 

• Adjusted corruption scaling so that Lyla can now reach tier 3/4 sluttiness properly.  This is a temporary adjustmetn to account for missing alternate corruption vectors.
• Implemented several fixes for tier 3/4 shower and balcony scenes.
• Corrected an error in the balcony door task that caused several different crashes with Bhob, and a minor error with Piezo. (Thank you HUUUUUR for helping with this one.)
• Corrected an error in the task system logic that permitted, in rare situations, a task's stage to appear to be re-opened after completion (the stage was, however, treated as completed internally and the task was completable so players who encountered the bug may not have noticed it.)
• Corrected several holes in the logic that would have made it less likely players might unlock the Piezo training options as early as possible.
• Numerous other cleanup and quality of life improvements to better streamline the flow of tasks.

Known Issues: (These issues will likely not be fixed until a later date as they are aesthetic/minor:

• Lyla's pajamas show piercings regardless of whether or not she has had her nipples pierced.
• Lyla's pajamas "cheat" just outside her rove in one of the early scenes in which she prepares to have tea on the balcony.
• An end of content scene is currently no being displayed when it should be.  Players should be aware that the current lewd/main storyline content is exhausted once they've:
• A: Seen all of Piezo's training options (name calling, spit, flashing and watching Piezo jerk off.)
• B: Seen all of the shower and balcony scenes (these are unlocked via tasks.  Click on the balcony door in Lyla's Room and the bathroom door on the second floor of the Pawn Shop to start them.)
• C: Completed the main "cursed" storyline up to the "waiting for Stephen to get her armor "stage of the Enter the Beast Hunting Tournament task.

 V0.1.41 Hotfix for (V0.1.40 Release)

• Fixed syntax error not allowing some players to go to the balcony after Bhob has repaired the door.
• (bug)Fixed syntax error not causing an unignorable fault calling out the blurred BG for the Streets.
• (Known Bug_Not Fixed)Lylas pj's showed an outline of pierced nipples.  New sprite artwork that was introduced shows this.  Will fix artwork at a later time.
• (bug)Fixed Lyla's choker showed on her character before receiving it from Sock.
• (bug)Fixed: When giving Geoff his towel, game throws an error "Frustrated" not defined
• (bug)Fixed: Could not find Pawnshop_Backroom error

V0.1.40

Game engine completely rewritten and redesigned:

• Features in-game menus.
• New Quest tracking/System.
• Quest Tip and what to do next can be found by clicking the associated quest.
• Quest Notification System (Completed and New Tasks will now Pop Up Notifying the Player).
• Inventory System and Menu.
• Character (Lyla) Stat Tracking Menu.
• Location Awareness System (Under the Hood).
• Embarrassment Stats now in Place.
• Slut Level System, more scenes unlock the higher it gets.  This is increased by doing slutty things. (This mechanic will be adjusted and re-balanced at a later date.)
• Bathroom Door can now be unlocked. (First: Click the Door to trigger the task, talk to Piezo, then Bhob.)
• Balcony Door can now be unlocked.  (First: Click the Door to trigger the task, talk to Piezo, then Bhob.) 
• Slut Favor System now in place.  Only way to Leave the Pawnshop During the Day.  Lyla can do a favor for Piezo to leave without working.  Activates after a certain point in the story. (Joining the Beast Hunting Team).
• Day/Night Cycle implemented.  Currently only affects a minor portion of the game.  Only night scene - Run in with Thug.
• Embarrassment Points foundation put into place.  (Need to assign values at a later date for game balancing.)
• Foundation for hints system put into place.  (Will activate at a later update.)
• Shortcut Button added to Lylas Room to take the player right to the store front.

Game Feature Removed (Temporarily):

• Working the Pawnshop (Minigame) has been temporarily removed due to conflicts with the new engine.  Will take some time to repair and re-implement.
• Each one of Lylas emotions has multiple faces that could be shown.  Due to a bug in the latest version of Renpy, it causes flickering between the random choice states.  Emotions have been suppressed to only show one face now per emotion.  Will repair at a later date.

For future updates, I've decided to move away from Trello and move everything to Hacknplan which has mostly been done so far.  Currently Hacknplan does not offer public viewing but is a planned feature.  So once that happens, I'll open the board up to public viewing.
