I've got stage fright...for the first time in years...

Today, on our Patreon page, the first to chapters of "The Airship Pirate Chronicles Radio Drama" will be released...and I'm very nervous about it. I'm nervous for a couple of reasons. The first is that our Patreon page is shaping up to be very successful. Bringing in an amount of money that will really make our lives relaxed and unstressed, again. It won't make us rich, but it will put us back to the place where we were five years ago, where we had enough to pay all of our bills. (as I've explained elsewhere, when streaming music sites became popular, our Fanbase continued to get bigger, while our income went down to about a third of what it was, prior to streaming sites being popularized). Since the benefit of our Patreon is so important to me, doing a good job on the Patreon is VERY important to me. Another reason I am nervous, is the opening two chapters of these books are very different but the rest of the books. I set up a scene where in the lead character shows how dark his life has been prior to the adventures beginning. This is to make readers and listeners chair when his life becomes something amazing. But that means if you just listen to these two chapters, they might leave you feeling… down. So when you listen to these first two chapters, bare in mind this is not an example of what's to come, it's just the beginning of the story. The Lord of the rings begins with the hobbit sitting comfortably in his home. That does not mean the whole story is about hobbit sitting comfortably in his home. You've got a wait for the adventure to begin. One thing I will do, I think, is leak some of the auditions we've had so far. I'm not exaggerating: hundreds of actors have written to me in the last 48 hours about being on the radio drama. It's probably been the biggest response to any casting call we've had. We've had some amazing actors and actresses audition for rolls, and I want you guys to get a flavor of what it will be like.
