Crash was just an amazing album, full of power an emtion, and it contains some of the soungs I've written that I'm most proud of, like Captain Ulysees, The Rum Talking, Side by Side, Work Hard, and Tree House At The End Of The World.
I know, I know, most of you already have all our music. If you don't, enjoy! If you do, maybe today is a great day to listen to this amazing album again!
AND JUST BECAUSE WE LOVE YOU PATRONS MORE THEN ANYONE, we are giving you a free download of the instrumental version of this album, in addition to the full version! If you are like me, you like to listen to music when you read, or work, but sometimes the lyrics of songs pull you out of the moment. Instrumentals are a great solution!
TRUE STORY: When I first started righting this album, my goal was to write a completely modern sounding album, to see where that took us. So the first three or for songs on this album were intentionally as modern as I could write. BUT THEN I BEGAN TO WORRY! "Maybe nobody wants us to sound modern!?! Maybe they only want the classic Abney Park sound, and will hate me if I do something modern!!!" So I immediately sat down and wrote The Rum Talking, Treehouse, etc.
