Fun little interview

(I was at a recent live show) "why the band members are not introduced?"
Humm, well, I guess I assume all the fans know who they are by now. Most bands don't introduce band members every show, so it didn't really occur to me.
"What is the weirdest thing that has happened to you on tour or member?"
Soooo many answers to this. I'll just give you one: at a show in Australia on a HUGE high tech stage, the guitar player asked for some aspirin to cure his headache. Turns out their was a man who lived under the stage, and he provided ANY kind of drugs any band might need. And the weirdest part? He, at least when we were talking to him, was hung upside-down from the bottom of the stage! He would move around under the stage, hanging upside down to get the drugs!
"Is Roberts married to one of the female band members?"
Robert (me) has been married to Kristina, the keyboard player, for 23 years.
"Do you have to pay your own way to the concert to Britain this August?"
Each show is different, but for that show the deal was that they transferred money in advance for us to buy tickets with. Typically the promoters buy the tickets, but many international shows just give us a flat fee, and from that we buy the tickets.
"Is there a reason you don't play some of your older songs like Steampunk Revolution? "
We have over 350 songs. A live concert is typically only around 2 hours, whereas "All the songs" would be about 1,400 hours long. So there's no way we can play all the songs every show, without killing the band members. ;)
