August Patron Fic Pick

MLP is, at its heart, a slice of life show detailing the day to day issues, problems, frailties and doings of a bevy of small pastel horses. During the summer holidays we're going to do the same by voting for which slice of life fic you would like to see adapted in my full-cast audiobook style. 

Below are six options and the links to the original stories. Each patron gets one vote for which one they would like to see adapted into a full cast audiobook. You can change your vote if you like as long as you do so by the closing date. Leave your choice as a comment on this post within the next week. Voting will close on August 20th and I'll announce the chosen fic on August 21st.

1. Life's Test by DouglasTrotter

Synopsis: After a long day, it's time for the Cutie Mark Crusaders to head home from their club house. Rainbow Dash has come to take Scootaloo home. Rainbow Dash has some things to discuss with the little filly.

2. Working Filly Blues by Hoof and Quill

Synopsis: After copious complaining about Scootaloo being paid for her work doing chores, Apple Bloom spends a week doing the same around Sweet Apple Acres.

3. Interview with a Cab Driver by Admiral Biscuit

Synopsis: 'Spuds' Terkel is the voice of the common pony. Tired after a long weekend in Manehattan, he's only looking forward to the train ride back home . . . until he takes notice of who's pulling his cab. A chance meeting provides him with another interview into the life of a common pony.

4. Captain Dash by Hoof and Quill

Synopsis: Twilight sighed quietly. “Captain Spitfire, I’m not… making accusations, but I’m curious. Rainbow’s amazing, but why did you put her forward for promotion to Captain?”

5. Inheritance by KwirkyJ

Synopsis: Filthy Rich teaches his daughter about her own future.

6. Never a Wonderbolt by SkyeSilverwing

Synopsis: After being summoned to a meeting with Wonderbolt Commander Spitfire, Rainbow Dash finally learns the truth about why she has been passed over by the Wonderbolts all this time. A little bit of Rainbowfire.
