September 2019 Patron Fic Pick!

'Don't be afraid of being scared. To be afraid is a sign of common sense. Only complete idiots are not afraid of anything.' ~ Carlos Ruiz Zafón, The Angel's Game

This month, in preparation for Month of Macabre in October, it is up to you, my beloved patrons, to choose a creepypasta that will be released on my channel for Hallowe'en!

Below are options and the links to five pastas up for my special audio treatment. Each patron gets one vote for which one they would like to see adapted. Voting will close on September 17th and I'll announce the chosen fic on September 18th!

NOTE: Please register your vote at this poll, not in the comment section below: https://linkto.run/p/09RCDC1O

1. Skinwalker by Max Minton

You hear stories, on TV, or sometimes you over hear something in a public place. People talk about ghosts and aliens, and you think to yourself, “That isn't real. They're making it up, or they're mistaken, or they're crazy,” or something like that. You just can't believe it. Until something happens.

2. My Mom Bought My Sister a Music Box Once. Once. by sleepyhollow_101

My mom bought it at an antique shop that had just opened up in our neighborhood. She should have left it there.

3. The Witch by numbe8

I lost my sister a year ago yesterday. She was sick my entire life - diagnosed with bipolar schizophrenia, impulse control issues and a host of other problems at 13 - which caused her to do very strange things. Very dangerous things. Very ... evil things. I'm not sure if it was a blessing or a curse that she's dead now.

4. Flicker by averlus

It was a flash. No, let me backup, it was more like a flicker, the kind of thing you see when someone shines a light off in the distance through some kind of obstruction. In this case it was through the leaves of the trees not far off of the nature trail near my house.

5. The Pigeons Around Here Aren’t Real by manen_lyset

It’s no secret that big cities have pigeon problems. It was my job to try and keep Toronto’s ever-growing pigeon population in check. I came across an article about a pilot project where researchers replaced pigeon eggs with wooden substitutes. The birds, too stupid to know the difference, spent months caring for the fake eggs instead of producing more. It sounded like the perfect plan. What I didn’t count on was for those fake eggs to hatch, and for the abominations inside to be released into the world.
