Manual draft trackers are now available for ESPN and Sleeper leagues
Added 2024-10-19 05:39:27 +0000 UTCHey all - a pretty common request over the past week has been to make the manual draft tracker for custom leagues easier to use for ESPN leagues. A suggestion I had was to make the manual draft tracker work with the ESPN data that already gets imported (ADP, player positions, teams etc.).
Thought it was a pretty good suggestion, so there's now manual mode draft trackers for ESPN leagues!
Your feedback over the next few weeks will decide whether this option stays or whether it gets removed for being too manually heavy to use, so please send me your feedback (good or bad, I'm a grown up, I can take it if it's bad).
The main things to pay attention to are needing to manually select a player, the team that drafted them, and clicking the draft player button. You can also undo picks.
It also turns out that Sleeper's API for fantasy basketball isn't real-time (it looks like it updates every few minutes, which, for a live draft isn't great), so I've made the draft tracker for Sleeper leagues work with manual selections as well. I've submitted a support request with Sleeper, so if they ever get their fantasy basketball API to update in real-time like Yahoo and Fantrax do, then I'll put the draft sync draft tracker back in.

I love adding this future. However, I will I could immediately draft players from the list. Searching the drop down menu was pretty difficult, and in my crazy league the players drafted often weren’t even available yet. So it ended up distracting me and almost caused me to miss a couple picks. Again - the future is a must and I’m glad it’s there. But it has the potential to be much, much better.
