thanks man glad you enjoyed and I mainly pick up on it because im a massive fan of a light novel called spice and wolf which is all about medieval trading and being a merchant. Mirillla is my favorite atm so looking forward to more of her in season 2 and gilbert is a very intreating character looking forward to seeing how they handle his character in season 2 as well

2020-02-17 21:41:42 +0000 UTCI think you're the first reactor I've seen to understand the money thing with Matthew. Also to realize the connection with Marilla's hair ribbon. And I love the Marilla stuff in this episode. The conversation with Gilbert is well done, even if I think it was a big part in convincing Gilbert to leave. The whole part about obligation being a prison, I think Gilbert decided he didn't want to feel like that. I also think this an insight into why Marilla is how she is, she has always had to make the practical choice, and so her whole life is very down to earth, not a lot of dreaming or imagination (until Anne came along). Also, you kept saying the older characters have their own story. I believe there's actually a book about Marilla as a young girl as kind of a prequel to the Anne of green Gables series. I haven't actually read it, but I'm pretty sure it exists. Great reaction!
