I cannot wait for your season 3 reactions, pretty much everyone agrees it is the best season by far so I am very excited to see your opinion!! also - I completely get where you're coming from about Anne and how she can be triggering and annoying a lot of the time. While it can be frustrating, I also think its really refreshing to show a teenager (especially with such a sad past) have so many flaws, that she can not know when to shut up, she can snap and say things without thinking. It's realistic because so many of us make mistakes and need to learn as we grow older. But as I hope you'll see more of in season 3, I think Anne has so many good traits as well like you said yourself, despite what she has been brought up to think she is kind, so open-minded and smart beyond her years, she is accepting of everyone with different backgrounds and she does just genuinely want the best for everyone. It's a great balance to see a young girl that makes mistakes and snaps at others, to see her still be so accepting and loving despite everything she has been through and that she has a better/more forward understanding than the older characters. I think its a really great thing that they did with her character to see her growing up and maturing, and that so many of us can do the wrong thing, especially at that young age :)
