The reason all the casual conversation is so good in this show is because most of it actually wasn't scripted. It was all improvised on the spot by the actors, and they just kept doing a bunch of takes until they had something that was good enough. The dominatrix conversation, the girl with the cat tounge, the near-intercourse on the toilet at a party, all those stories was just Magnus' actor going wild. The guy who tried to make beer by putting yeast in apple juice, the guy who threw up on some girls' shoes, The beatboxing in Even's apartment, Cardamom pancakes, Even's mom paying Isak for taking care of Even, all those things were just made-up on set while they where shooting. Which actually just makes it even more impressive!
