Honestly, not sure how I feel about the animation in Season 4. From what I understand the art style has always mirrored the art style of the manga, but the art style changed for season 4 to reflect the changes in the manga art. Its very different and takes some time to get used to. The production staff also changed for season 4 compared to the other seasons. There is definitely some weird expressions on the characters from time to time, and I think the quality of the art drops from time to time. The animation is same, it varies from okay to great depending on the scene. I don't get the same cohesiveness in the art or animation that the previous seasons have. Grant it seems other viewers like it, so in the end you will just have to decide for yourself if you like the changes. I guess I have watched Haikyuu too many times that I just used to the art/animation of the first 3 seasons that its hard for me get used to it. I still am loving the character development and the story in season 4, that has not changed at all. Will look forward to your reaction when you get there, but there is still so much greatness to come in the rest of season 2 and all of 3 (you're not ready for season 3!!).
