It's funny that Richard Hatch, playing the terrorist guy, was the original Apollo in the original Battlestar Galactica in the 70's.

They definitely do a great job of selling the bleakness of the situation, and the difficult decisions, but I love that they also make time for nice, warm moments in between (e.g. Adama's speeches, or with President Roslin this episode).
