I appreciate how reliable you are. I can always look forward to Wednesday because of your Druck reactions and never got dissapointed :D I like the changes they made in this episode. The christmas dinner with Hanna and her father, the talk between Mia and her parents, how Hans is talking about his family and the difficulties there AND that Alex lets Mia drive :D Also their characters feel very different. For me Mia is more sassy and determined. And Alex... first I thought he's colder than William cause he didn't show any emotions but when he talks, he's got something which is softer and somehow he's a bit more approachable to me. I'm divided when it comes to his discussion with Mia. I think you should never treat a person like he treated Kiki cause that's really hurting and can cause damage. But I can see some points of him. He's right, Mia could've told Kiki that he's hitting on her behind Kikis back. Now she brought herself into something where she needs to lie to Kiki and do stuff behind her back though I really believe her that she just wanted to protect her...For me the best episodes are yet to come and I'm excited for your reactions and thoughts. I like that you're pausing and sharing your opinion with us.

Also love this episode, this one brings up so many interesting points and arguments. I agree about Alex while I don't really agree, I see his point of view but also I don't think he is really aware of what kiki is actually going through with her own self esteem issues and like you said so many insecurities building up with her character that saying one thing like that could really break her down even more and what he said was extremely hurtful . I just like the discussion around it, to me that feels very real. I just love how they are going in more with kikis character here to me that's one of the stand out differences of this season. Also i love what the do with mia's character as well. She is very loving and really cares about kiki but as alex said she could have told kiki right from the start that alex liked her instead but she didnt, I do think that was not to hurt kiki but really is this the better solution? Having to lie to her? I also don't think its fair for mia to necessarily blame alex for kiki's insecurities all the time, I could see why she would think that but just assuming isnt necessarily the correct thing either. I really like how all the characters have flaws it makes them seem like real people. Anyways SO excited for the next episode its one of my personal favorites of season 2 which is kinda funny giving the OG version of this particular episode is my least favorite. Thanks again for another great reaction. I cant speak for others but I personally really like the pausing to discuss your point of view just like to hear others perspectives.
