2020-10-09 03:57:14 +0000 UTCYou probably have made the connection with the imagery after Hoshiumi's little speech, but in keeping with the animal motifs for the major schools in Haikyuu, his school is Kamomedai. "Kamome" means seagull, and that's why Hoshiumi's eyes look strange; he's supposed to be modeled after a seagull. It's still kinda weird because it's probably the strangest character design in the series, but I still think it's neat lol
