Haikyuu is a master class in writing plot and character development. It has remained "fresh" for four seasons because we are always being introduced to new concepts/plays/skills in the story. Add to that the interesting and unique backstories we get from both sides of the net. I love how even those of the sidelines aka Kinoshita have their moment, it may not be how he thought he'd have one but he helped Nishinoya break Atsumu's serve. LOVE Haikyuu.
