Let's Talk About These Higher Goals...

So you may have noticed we've reached the $540 goal and are now working on the $2,000 goal. First of all - wow! Thanks for all the generosity and support. You're all amazing and I literally could not be doing this without you.

Now, we've reached a $540 goal which touts Photo Comics. Yeah, I can do those. I've toyed around with them a bit. But something I've noticed is that the images I have legally licensed access to give me...limited room to story tell. I could do one about petrification in an art studio...one about the Midas touch in an art studio...one about someone getting "jaded" in an art studio...you get the idea. I love statue TFs, but I much more prefer to tell a story that allows for more exploration of subject and location.

Now, I could ask if you all want to have another page added to TIME AND AGAIN or HELD WITHIN. We COULD do that. We'd just run another poll and (presuming the Goal holds) we'd start getting more pages possibly even next month.

But there is one other idea I've been mulling about. One so absurd I've been wary to even let myself imagine it, let alone discuss it. And it would require us to raise the $540 Goal to a new level.

I could start a new project with Portal Comic.

I want to stress NEW there, I'd have to provide a script for a new comic to them (which I have ready to go, and would have replaced HELD WITHIN when it ends). And they are in popular demand so I don't know what the posting schedule would be. But I did recently talk with them again on a whim and they said they'd be eager to work with me once more.

Regarding the Goal, we'd have to consider some options because they cost 3 TIMES more per-page than some artists I have worked with. We'd either set the $540 goal to the new amount (which I need to check and confirm), or maybe start adding a new page to an existing comic with the caveat that if a newly added Goal that offsets the cost difference is achieved that new page is dropped and the Portal Comic project begins.

Okay, that's a lot. I'll open this up to some discussion in the comments. Let me know thoughts, feedback, ideas, whatever. You've given me so much, I want to make sure you all get the chance to determine what next you'd want to get back.
