Try to remember these are my thoughts and opinions in s1, hindsight is wonderful. understanding and interpretation are different for each person, I've seen more people agree than disagree so I could argue your understanding is wrong. At the end of the day, it's subjective, and yes you can have bad takes sure, but it's tv at end of the day as long as I'm enjoying it that's all that matter to me I agree on Lilly being toxic and super selfish at times, but so is every character in this show only person I would say isn't is marshall. I'm happy to debate this stuff though as it's always fun, and I'm always happy to read if someone disagrees. just write out your argument but only with the knowledge point I should know at this point in time, not what happens in the future or biases that you've built over the show. eg if the character is shitty now but has amazing development later, doesn't counter that they're still shitty at the moment and I'm unaware of that development to come.

I absolutely loved your reaction to Ted and Robin XD so funny, and yep I don't feel anything for them either as a couple, but I do like them as friends. Marshal definitely needed a hug... I was really sad when they broke up too. But the build up to it was really well done, even early on we hear Lilly complain about her job a few times and mention how she wanted to become a painter. The show does foreshadowing quite well in my opinion. I really enjoyed your reactions to the entire season, and I'm looking forward to season 2, so many things I can't wait for you to see :D Have a great week :)

2021-01-12 16:49:38 +0000 UTCSee, I like robin and ted together personally, I don’t mind it..but the whole back and forth of their relationship in season 1 kinda became tired..I think the writers were aware of it too because how much the other characters point it out, the way they get together is just too cheesy and overdramatic for me..I love the contrast of Lilly and Marshall..seeing one relationship bloom and another fall apart. I always like when shows do that duel perspective. Excited for season 2 some iconic episodes in that season 🥰
