So now we can talk about why John was so different between the end of season 1 and the beginning of season 2. Yes, there was trauma. But ever since he was in the chair he has also had a neural chip in his brain picking away at him, trying to find the wormhole technology. John isn't quite himself because he isn't quite alone in his own head. The "Harvey" neural clone of Scorpius is interfering. Nudging John in certain directions. How do you trust your own decisions knowing that your enemy is in your head, influencing you without you knowing?

Also we're on season 2, not 3. Usually I understand how Ani gets the season/episode numbers confused, but this time I am lost at how he came to this one. lol

Looking back over the season up to this point there are several moments where the neural chip Scorpius clone had helped or influenced Crichton. When John is going nuts on the exploding ship after Bracca has escaped in the Princess trilogy you can hear Scorpius whispering to him to focus and how he must survive which makes him calm down and make an escape plan. It's also the chip that helps John in Crackers Don't Matter which is why he remains somewhat more in control of himself than the other crew members.

Gotta love the imagination Farscape always brings to the table! Not sure, but you seem to have the episode numbers mixed up. By my schedule this is ep 15, not 14. Anyway, ep 16 The Locket is one of my S2 faves...though I have many in S2. Can't wait. Thanks :)
