Posting Stuff Up After Work Today

As some of you may know, this has been a tough month for my private life and another pending loss still hangs over us. So during the 6-hour drive back from Chicago I needed a distraction. I decided I would figure out a TF movie pitch. Multiple breasts! Orgasms on command! Djinnification! Gold! To make this reasonable I thought about the works of one of my favorite directors and paired it all down to a small cast and reasonable budget with practical FX I have seen in other productions. I wrote a 5-page pitch before I could have the chance to forget everything. And then I may have found this director's public contact information and asked if I could pitch him a movie. And then I set my fantasy aside, expecting to resume routine. And then he replied, saying I should register the pitch with the WGA and send it to his personal email. So...the last few days suddenly became a fevered panic of refining the pitch and learning how to actually do all of this while the iron is still hot. I expect to submit the final refined pitch today. Even though it is likely nothing will come of it, I am keeping many of these details to myself for now. If/when rejection comes I will share more about the experience and the story I developed. I think it is pretty fun. Anyway, with this craziness nearly in the can I will resume normal operations later today. Just wanted to keep y'all informed. ~dS
