It's true that sometimes watching 2 friends "break up" is harder than watching a couple separate. That limo scene is quite sad when Ted tells Barney he belongs in the box of things to leave behind... Second episode is both fun (the Barney's search for his rebound bro) but also not a great episode for Ted. In my opinion, Ted really disrespected Stella when he told the others (Stella doesn't even know that Robin knows as well) about something really personal and that she felt really insecure about. This is why sometimes I don't like Ted, he just focus on how things make him feel, like stressing out about not meeting her expectations, rather than really taking the time to understand why she trusted him to tell him. That was already a big deal in my opinion. So yeah, not the best episode for Ted. Still enjoyable though. You're frustration because of the goat story not getting told 😂 can you imagine how Ted's kids must feel having to listen to their dad go on and on about his entire adult life and then getting mixed up in the storytelling and not remembering details that he teased beforehand 😂 poor kids... 😂
