i agree with you. just because someone is family doesnt mean you have to love him or keep them in your life. if someone fucks you over, it doesnt matter if they are family or not

Another great reaction especially to the "I'm still in love with you" XD That was so good !!! And yeah, that's the last scene I want to happen with these two lol Ah the slap bet returns and we love to see it. I especially love the whole play on words with slap in everything (screen writers must have had fun coming up with those ) but my absolute favorite was Barney, from acting scared and on edge to the mastermind manipulating Ted and Robin so that it'd be too late for the slap. Marshall's speech at the end about how the slap brought them all together was cheesy as hell but still really funny. I agree with what you said about it being too happy with Lilly and her dad. I don't have the best relationship with my dad and sometimes we end up not talking for long periods of time. It got better after I moved out but it still not the kind of relationship that some of my friends have with their dads. I get the whole, fear of losing someone makes you reconsider things, but still, there are some situations where it's more complicated than that. I don't really like how Marshal tried to force things, and I was on Lilly's side the whole episode. But I love that the moment it was clear that Micky didn't seem to care that Lilly was not coming back, that Marshall got angry and called him out on it. Second episode is both funny and creepy to me. Creepy in a sense that Ted is thinking about only himself the entire episode and not even considering how Maggie must be feeling right after her break up (that relationship lasted for 5 years after all). And I love that Robin called them all out on it. The love story at the end was cute if a bit cheesy. But it definitely warmed my heart to see them both have their happy ending. The flashback with Marshall is golden! So two good episodes and a real fun reaction to them :) Until next week :)

I know this is a sitcom but I think it is an important subject to bring up. And unfortunatly I don't think Marshal was in the right inviting Lily's dad behind her back. It seemed like he was only seing the situation from his own point of view without understanding Lily's reason to not talking to her dad. But I love how Marshall stood up for Lily at the end. And the "I used to think family was a right. But it's not. It's a privilege and it has to be earned" was such a good line for this situation. The happy ending was fine because it was Lily's descision! I think it's kindda important for people like myself to learn about other family situations. I come from a family that is very close. We spend a lot of time togehter, even though we're all grown ups now. It seems so strange to me when I have friends who doesn't talk to their family. But when you hear their stories you 100% understand why.
